At the Petrol Station of the Soul

We always go away the second week of the holidays, to a cottage up near Loch Rannoch.  That's where I am now, filling up at the petrol station of the soul, and here are some photos from other visits.  Snow, sun, fog or rain - makes no odds.  A good way to start a year.

Thanks for reading - have a Happy New Year - and may 2013 be the best yet!

Cheers, Joan.

Always enjoy these photos you post! Breathtakingly lovely! Although I did do a double take when I saw the pylon looming out of the mist - I immediately looked for the Iron Age house from our local Open Air Museum at its foot - but I suppose even pylons have to take a holiday, which explains what it was doing there ...
Enjoy the break!

Love being able to see such lovely locations, Joan. Thanks for sharing this and many other trips.

A breath of virtual clear air - and without the froze toes.
